How to reach Albarella Island
Albarella Island is located in the Po Delta Park between Chioggia (distance 30 km) and Comacchio (distance 45 km), in the municipality of Rosolina in the province of Rovigo, Veneto.

Travelling on the motorway from Milan or Brenner, recommended route: A4 Milan-Venice motorway, exit at Verona Sud - take the SS434 Transpolesana highway to Rovigo – follow directions for Adria - Loreo - Rosolina - take the 11 km bank road to Albarella. Alternative route: exit at Padova Est - take the SS309 Romea highway towards Ravenna - pass Chioggia and continue towards Rosolina - take the 11 km bank road to Albarella.
Travelling on the motorway from Florence-Bologna recommended route: A13 Bologna-Padua motorway – exit at Rovigo Sud – follow indications for Adria - Loreo - Rosolina - take the 11 km bank road to Albarella.
Travelling on the A14 Ancona-Bologna motorway – exit at Cesena Nord, continue on the E45 road towards Ravenna - take the SS309 Romea highway towards Venice, pass Comacchio and Porto Viro then take the 11 km bank road to Albarella. -
Rosolina station is located 15 km from Albarella, from here you can only get to the Island by private transfer or taxi.
Venice-Mestre station is 70 km from Albarella.
Padua station is 75 km from Albarella.
Connections by taxi or private transfer ( on payment) can be requested at our booking office. -
Venice Marco Polo International Airport is approx. 1 hour and 20 minutes by car.
Bologna G. Marconi airport is approx. 2 hours by car.
Verona Catullo airport is approx. 2 hours and 30 minutes by car.
Treviso Canova airport is approx. 2 hours by car.
Car rental is available at all the airports to get to the Island or request a private transfer or taxi. -

For guests arriving by boat we recommend you stay on a seabed of no less than 5 metres until visible the two-ring water tower, for 240 °, head towards the waypoint gps at the mouth of the bluffs, follow the red buoys on the left hand side. For more information go to the to Albarella Marina page. -
For guests arriving on Albarella Island by helicopter, there is a landing area for private helicopters or those organized on request to the management.
