Excursions to Chioggia and Pellestrina

Chioggia, known as the little Venice, is an enchanting and colourful town that rises from between the sea and the Venice lagoon. Canals and multicoloured buildings, fishing boats and typical restaurants: Chioggia with its colourful and romantic atmosphere is located just 30 km from the Island. From here, there are also boat connections to Pellestrina Island and Venice Lido.

With the Canal Bianco passing through its centre, Adria is located 25km. from Albarella Island and is a picturesque old town, full of shops, theatres and workshops as well as various museums amongst which stands out the National Archaeological Museum. Once an ancient capital on the sea, today it tells us a lot about the new land that emerged from the Po Delta.
