Albarella Island donates 100 holiday vouchers for Veneto medical operators who are engaged in the fight against Covid-19. This is a special thank you that Albarella Island wants to say to the frontline medical staff of the Veneto hospitals in their fight against Covid-19.In collaboration with the Veneto Region and the Healthcare Agency Zero Albarella Island will donate 100 holiday vouchers to Veneto doctors and nurses – and their families – who are involved in this terrible emergency, to spend their holidays in the hotels or apartments on the Island immersed in the Po Delta and find some peace and tranquillity.
An initiative strongly desired by Emma Marcegaglia, of the Marcegaglia Group of which Albarella Srl is a part and by Mauro Rosatti, Albarella’s General Manager who on the 9th April received applause during the live daily press conference from both Luca Zaia, the President of Veneto and Manuela Lanzarin the Regional Health Minister. This is not the first intervention for charity of the Marcegaglia Family: last month the Marcegaglia Foundation donated 200 thousand Euros to the Mantua hospital for the creation of new posts in the intensive care unit.
“It is a way of saying thank you to all those who are working in the hospitals – explains Mauro Rosatti – As a tourist destination we always support our territory, especially in a delicate moment like this we want to express our gratitude and solidarity to those who are helping us in this battle”.
