The Catholic church of S. Nicolao delle Flüe in Albarella is located right in the middle of the island and is surrounded by an amazing garden with multicoloured flowers. The patron of the island, S. Nicolau, to whom this little church is devoted, is celebrated on the first Sunday in August.
Another tradition on the island is the Mass service on Easter Sunday. An opening banquet for the coming season is offered just in front of the church at the end of the mass.
