You can reach the island by driving along the 12 km long causeway connecting the island to the mainland. It is also reachable by helicopter or by private boats.The use of cars is strongly discouraged on the island. You are warmly invited to park your car and to use alternative means of transportation such as bikes, golf-cars, the island shuttle train, roller blades, and….your own legs!!.
Public means of transportation arrive outside the island, in Rosolina. You can get there by train or by bus, then a taxi or a private car can get you to the island.
