In May 1988 a group of deep-sea fishermen walking and chatting together in Albarella Harbour, decided to form this club. The Albarella Angler's Club today, is probably one of the oldest surving clubs. The Club has it own facility situaded in the Island of Albarella, near the harbour management offices.
The Deep Sea fishing has been one of the most important activities of the last few years.
Other than the fishing competitions for tuna and mackeral.
Every year the club organises a Children's competition, dedicated exclusively to the younger generation.
