Albarella is an exclusive private island located south of Venice. It is an ideal place for spending either a relaxing break or an active, sporting family holiday.
Situated within the beautiful Po Delta Nature Reserve, the island is connected to the mainland by a causeway, and only residents can enter the island. The island is 5 Km long and 1.5 km wide, and is shaded by around 2 million trees of 150 different species, including the Cluster Pine and the White Poplar (Populus Alba), from which the island derives its name.
Blught by the Marcegaglia Group in 1988, the Island of Albarella is one of the most elegant family tourist resorts on the Adriatic coast.
